Job Description

Overall job purpose

The Purpose of this role is the control of both the Hygiene and Pest Control stock by documenting the issuing and receiving of stock, and coordinate timely ordering of stock both Locally and Overseas to prevent stock outs and thereby ensure efficient and effective sales and service.

Key Deliverables

  • To document issue and receive stock items
  • Update PC and Hygiene stock spreadsheets daily and circulate to department heads
  • Facilitate and participate in monthly stock count
  • Request proforma invoices from Local and Overseas Suppliers on a timely basis based on the reorder quantity triggers.
  • Prepare purchase orders for signing based on discussions with the Heads of the Service Departments.
  • Monitor Big Opportunity Sales Report and sales processed report in Icabs to forecast demand.
  • Interact with the Service team in regards to service deliveries and issues with products to guide ordering.
  • Work closely with the Directors of Operations Pest control amp; Hygiene to provide accurate and timely stock reporting
  • To act as one of the key interface between Hygiene customers amp; Customer Service Technicians especially in the absence of the Service Coordinator.
  • Assist with general admin duties such as scheduling and planning of service visits and act as key support in the absence of the main service scheduler.
  • Have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the branch service area and the provision of the service
  • Be aware of the Health amp; Safety requirements as laid down in the Health amp; Safety Policy and your own personal responsibilities within the Health amp; Safety at Work Act
  • To immediately report any hazardous site conditions, incidents or accidents to your direct report in line with current policy
  • Ensure that personal protective clothing or equipment issued to you is maintained in a clean, useable and safe condition. Any defects are reported to your direct report.
  • Ensure that all chemicals are stored and handled correctly and that staff are not exposed to unnecessary hazards

Requirements

Education Requirement

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related subject area
  • Inventory Management Certification

Essential qualities and experience

  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • IT Literate (Google Docs Google sheets, Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Ability to establish first time contact with potential suppliers amp; develop customer relationship.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum 1 year previous stock control experience
  • Proven experience of interacting with Suppliers
  • Proven experience of providing excellent customer service and relations.
