Duties/Responsibilities
1. Will perform collection of patient samples for laboratory testing
2. Rotates through other support functions / greeter and performs other duties as assigned by the Site Lead to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality operations.
3. Register clients at collection sites for COVID specimen collection.
4. Print labels to affix to the specimen collection container.
5. Properly don and doff personal protection equipment (PPE) according to CDC guidelines and YNHHS policies.
6. Ensures staff safety at all times, enforcing social distancing guidelines.
7. Provide assistance with collection site disinfection as needed.
8. Maintain accurate record of clients who get specimens collected at the site.
9. Follows proper infection prevention procedures at all times.
10. Assists with restocking or ordering supplies as designated by site lead.
Please note that the employees would work on holidays only by request of the employer and would only be straight pay. Employees work overtime only at the request of the employer and get paid at overtime rate.
