Mandate:
Reporting to the Oprations Manager, the Customs Brokerage Operator will be responsible for handling and entering documentation received from Importers, Freight Forwarders and Airlines. The Operator will also be responsible for updating and creating new entries for existing Delmar clients. The candidate will communicate directly with the customer to properly complete the file, as well as interact with our customs and freight departments to provide outstanding service to Delmar’s clients.
Requirements:
· 2-5 years of experience in customs and transportation
· Experience in dealing with local and national brokerage procedures and knowledge of US customs regulations
· Working knowledge of customs import regulations, freight forwarding and processes as well as H.S. tariff classification
· Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) is an asset
