A field service role with responsibility to perform assessment, monitoring, and management of pest activity to identify, prevent, and eliminate conditions that could promote or sustain a pest population.
Overall job purpose
- To ensure all Key Account customers have an effective programme to manage the pest activity on their facility.
- To intervene purposely to optimize service performance by providing timely reports using the Speed Reporter to generate information to the customer and the service team for timely intervention.
- To facilitate overall customer retention and Sales opportunity by ensuring:
- Assuring service quality through timely site QA visits.
- Providing good Reporting to current and prospective tender customers
- Developing and maintaining a positive high personal profile with selected customers
Key Deliverables
- Ensure that monthly, quarterly and Half yearly QAs and Field Biologist reports are completed for Key Account Customers.
- Accompany Sales consultant on major site visits to facilitate development of Proposals to prospective customers.
- Participate in meetings with Key Account customers.
- Complete Quality Assurance forms on customers’ sites to ensure that Rentokil Initial staff are providing the right level of service to particular customers and that exact specification requirements are being adhered to and submit to the Operations Manager.
- Provide Pest Aware training to customers and customers’ staff to assist them in obtaining a better understanding of pests and pest control techniques when required.
- Responsible for ensuring that Rentokil’s documents in the clients’ binders These may vary from site to site depending on each client’s requirements.
- Responsible for sending clients yearly treatment planners for the upcoming year’s inspections, this may include Routine visits and Fly control unit servicing dates, which will be supplied by the Customer Services Manager.
- Prepare monthly reports for submission to the Operations Manager.
- Complete inspections on Pest Prevention paperwork or generate Inspection Reports from technology tools provided
- Responsible for checking pest control documentation and plans, ensuring plans are kept up-to-date on the system for each customer including general administration for effective feedback to customers.
Requirements
Education Experience
- Degree in Entomology or similar Science programme.
- Associate Degree in Management Studies
- Diploma in Supervisory Management an asset
Essential qualities and experience
- Minimum 1-year Middle Management experience
- Holder of a General Driver’s License over 5 years.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- IT Literate able to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to establish first time contact with potential customers amp; develop customer relationship.
